Inner Mongolia upgrades coal chemical industry

In recent weeks, Inner Mongolia has accelerated the upgrading of its coal chemical industry through the utilization of clean energy resources and innovative technologies, making big strides in realizing a sustainable and advanced chemical engineering sector. 

Jiutai Energy Inner Mongolia Company in Jungar Banner, Ordos City, has been working in the coal chemical industry since 2010. Its factories are ecofriendly thanks to innovative technologies and upgraded facilities, providing a model for many domestic energy companies. Its annual methanol output is 1 million tons, with a plant area of 733,000 square meters.

Established in 2002, Jiutai Energy Group is a large-scale private joint-stock enterprise listed on the mainboard of Singapore Exchange. It mainly engages in the research and production of methanol, dimethyl ether, olefins, ethylene glycol, and aromatic products. 

Over the years, the group has built subsidiaries located in Linyi in Shandong, Ordos in Inner Mongolia, Guangzhou in Guangdong, and Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu.
