A promotion fair was convened in Hohhot by Xianyang, Shaanxi province on Aug 18 to seek partnerships and commercial trade with Inner Mongolia.

The three-day fair involved four exhibitions featuring ancient historical relics, tourism locations, local specialties, folk handicrafts, and agricultural products.

Xianyang, an ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, covers an area measuring over 10,189 square kilometers, with a residential population of nearly 4.98 million. 

Located in the northern Qinling Mountains, Xianyang has been recognized as the origin of China’s first empire during the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC). With a rich history, Xianyang has now pioneered ways to develop its industries and businesses.

The fair provided a platform for Xianyang to promote its grains, vegetables, fruits, Chinese medicines, tea and sugar.
