A youth basketball tournament kicked off at Ordos Sports Center from Oct 13 to 17, attracting 40 teams and more than 550 teenagers from regional junior and senior middle schools to compete.

The event was sponsored by Inner Mongolia Sports Bureau, Inner Mongolia Education Bureau, and Ordos Sports Department. The competition was divided into four groups, including boy’s senior middle school, girl’s senior middle school, boy’s junior middle school and girl’s junior middle school. 

After five-day rivalry, Baotou No 33rd Middle School won three championships at boy’s senior middle school group, girl’s senior middle school group and boy’s junior middle school group. During girl’s junior middle school competition, Baotou No 46th Middle School took first place.
