The eighth China-Mongolia media forum was held in Arxan city of Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 22, with the theme of “deepening pragmatic cooperation and enhancing people-to-people exchanges”.

The forum gathered representatives from media organizations in both countries, including the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Radio International, as well as major media organizations from Mongolia.

Wu Tuanying, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Inner Mongolia, addressed the forum, and expressed his appreciation for the achievements in bilateral cooperation, and his hopes that Chinese and Mongolian media organizations will put pragmatic cooperation first and deepen cooperation with each other.

At the forum, Chinese media organizations including Inner Mongolia Television and Ereenhot Media Center signed three cooperation agreements for projects with Mongolian media organizations.
