A Beef and Lamb Supply Chain Conference took place on Jan 28 in Hohhot. 

Largely organized by Fuyuan Co Ltd, a large refrigeration enterprise in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the conference attracted more than 100 representatives from meat, farming and animal husbandry enterprises.

Leading experts from the Chinese mainland, Spain, Singapore and Taiwan, including Liu Jing, executive vice-chairman of China Cold Chain Logistics Alliance, as well as the general manager of Kide China, a refrigeration equipment manufacturer under Mondragon, one of the world’s top 500 enterprises was invited to attend the event.

During the conference, guests gave speeches on the application of techniques like fermentation and freezing, and the integration of the farming and animal husbandry industries.

“Fuyuan Co is a supplier to domestic and international enterprises like Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Mengniu, Yili and Mengdu Co. with a positive reputation in the refrigeration equipment industry, which it has built in the 15 years since its founding,” Liu Jing noted in his speech.

Attendees also discussed such topics as the challenges and difficulties in the farming and animal industries.
