The China-Mongolia Ice and Snow Nadam was held in Ganqimaodu port, Urad Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia autonomous region from Jan 27 to 28, with an assortment of cultural events and sports activities to entertain tourists.

The events included horse racing, archery competition, Mongolian wrestling, camel racing, and Mongolian ethnic clothing exhibition, showcasing unique Mongolian customs and tradition.

In 2017, Urad Middle Banner received 758,000 visitors, gaining tourism revenue of 826 million yuan ($131 million).
