21. 2018 Inner Mongolia Music Band Competition

The competition aims to provide a platform for bands to promote Inner Mongolian culture as well as to encourage more music lovers to create bands in the region.

22. Exhibition on performances of China Shanghai International Arts Festival

The exhibition will display images of the outstanding performances of the China Shanghai International Festival, including the vocal solo concert performed by the renowned Chinese singer Liao Changyong.

23. First Inner Mongolia Design Competition in Culture Tourism Sector

This is the first design competition held in the culture tourism sector, with the aim of promoting the integration of development in culture and tourism.

24. First Mongolian Garment Design Competition

As one of the activities of the 15th China Inner Mongolia Grassland Culture Festival, the contest was launched on June 1 and 1,417 sets of clothing were submitted from 234 participants. Themed “New Area, New Fashion, New Life”, the competition aims to present Mongolian ethnic costumes to the world.

25. The Third Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cultural Industry Expo

The cultural industry expo will have three venues: the Inner Mongolia International Convention Center, Inner Mongolia Museum and Inner Mongolia Art Museum. It will present the best of the region's science, culture, design, heritage and animation productions to visitors.

26. Exhibition on national intangible cultural heritage

With the theme of national unity, the exhibition will invite more than 200 inheritors from 56 ethnic groups to display over 180 intangible culture heritage items. Events such as dance dramas and hands-on activities will also be held during the exhibition.

27. Exhibition on the history of the Great Wall in Inner Mongolia

The exhibition will explain the history of the Great Wall in Inner Mongolia and the protection work the government has done in recent years through photographs, maps and videos.

28. “Taste Inner Mongolia” Prairie-style Food Festival

The festival will be held in the Yuquan, Huimin and Xincheng districts. It is expected to lead a new trend in the catering sector and present local food culture.

29. Symposium on reforms of cultural system

The symposium will invite experts to exchange their ideas on deepening the reforms of cultural systems.

30. Inner Mongolia Culture and Tourism IP Conference

The conference aims to integrate regional culture and tourism resources to push forward the upgrade of the culture industry.

31. Grassland Culture Forum

The forum is themed on building a community with a shared future and the development of prairie culture. More than 200 people will attend the forum.

32. Sub-forum on Literature and Art

The forum will focus on the development of regional literature and art after the start of China’s reform and opening-up 40 years ago.

33. Sub-forum on Mongolian Studies

More than 80 people will attend the forum to discuss research achievements in Mongolian studies.

The forum aims to promote Mongolian medicine and seek new opportunities for the development of traditional medicine.

35. Forum on the culture of Mongolian costumes

36. Art performances of outstanding regional works

37. Performance tour of outstanding regional works

38. Closing and awards ceremony
