The first forum on the development of Ulan Muqir art troupes was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Nov 27.

The forum was organized by the Culture and Tourism Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with the aim of encouraging the innovation and development of Ulan Muqir art troupes.

Artists from Ulan Muqir art troupes across the region, and experts from Inner Mongolia branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Inner Mongolia Normal University, Hohhot Minzu College and Inner Mongolia Arts University attended the event.

According to the regional culture and tourism body, the forum was a chance to offer academic support for the constant development of local art troupes and the establishment of long-term evaluation mechanisms for the performance of art troupes.
