Twenty eight projects valued at more than 33 billion yuan ($4.74 billion) were contracted at the 2018 Investment and Financing Promotion Conference & Industrial Transfer Into Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia form Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Region that was held in Hangzhou, the capital of East China's Zhejiang province on November 29.

Sponsored by Inner Mongolia Department of Commerce, Wuhai municipal Party committee and Wuhai municipal government, there were over 300 representatives of enterprises, research institute and business associations in the YDR area that attended the conference held at Hangzhou International Expo Center in Hangzhou.

Contracted projects covered emerging industries such as new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, finance, e-commerce logistics, research and development centers and cultural tourism development.

The signings of these key projects are of great significance for speeding up the transformation and upgrading of Wuhai industry and promoting high-quality economic development, said Gao Shihong, the mayor of Wuhai.
