Naobao village in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region has gained popularity by welcoming 30,000 visitors during Spring Festival holiday, according to local reports on Feb 11.

Lantern shows and winter sports were among the most popular activities for visitors.  

The village has been decorated by 880,000 lanterns during the period, brightening the night in various colors. The lantern show is expected to culminate at the Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 19 this year.

A snow and ice amusement park in the village, which covers an area of over 40 hectares has also attracted crowds of visitors to enjoy the icy world with attractions and activities like ice sculptures and diverse winter sports.
