Manzhouli land port, which is located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region and is the largest land port of China, officially joined the China-Europe Secure and Smart Trade Line Pilot Program (SSTL), according to local customs said on July 16.

Since the operation of SSTL, Manzhouli land port has issued a total of four China-Europe container trains with a total of 295 containers and 492 vehicles, valued at $16,334,300.

In the future, Manzhouli land port will continue to serve the implementation of Belt and Road Initiative and promote the development of China-EU customs cooperation.

SSTL is a pilot project between the EU and Asia to fully implement the World Customs Organization Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Trade, which allows traders to quicken customs clearance with enhanced logistics, and consumers to track goods.
