According to local media reports, 2019 China Wuhai 'The Belt and Road' World Desert Wine Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in Wuhai, a city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region from Sept 18 to 20.

The festival aims to demonstrate and promote Wuhai's desert wine sector to the world, raise its profile as a desert-wine themed tourist destination, accelerate its integration with local tourism development and culture, boost the development of local cultural tourism, and attract investment for the wine industry.

According to local authorities, over ten events will be held during the three-day festival, including a wine competition, wine culture exhibition and wine forum.

In addition, scenic attractions, wineries, travel agencies, restaurants, hotels and transport departments in Wuhai will jointly launch customized tourist routes and streamlined policies to provide great services for tourists.
