The School of Aviation of the Ordos Institute of Technology and the Genghis Khan Airlines Training Center were unveiled in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 25.

The school of aviation, sponsored by the government of Inner Mongolia and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), a Chinese aerospace company, is the first aviation school in Inner Mongolia.

It currently offers degree and research programs in areas such as electronic science and technology, mechanical engineering, and traffic and transportation engineering.

The Genghis Khan Airlines Training Center, supported by Genghis Khan Airlines, combines comprehensive learning with hands-on training opportunities. It aims to produce more skilled aviation workers in Inner Mongolia.

The ARJ21, a twin-engine jet manufactured by COMAC, completed its first flight in Inner Mongolia on July 26. This was also the first flight operated by Genghis Khan Airlines.

In the future, Genghis Khan Airlines plans to enhance cooperation with the Inner Mongolian government and explore new ways to develop the aviation industry in Inner Mongolia.
