A pair of mute swans swim in the Ulansuhai Nur in Bayannur, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The swans are so-called because they are less vocal than their noisy cousins, the whooper and bewick's swans. Generally, they don't make too much noise and while flying, never emit sound.
