Ordos products scoop up prizes at regional competition

Cultural and tourism products from Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently won  prizes at the 2019 Inner Mongolia tourist commodities competition held in Hohhot, capital city of the region, according to news reports.

Sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the competition attracted the participation of over 200 cultural and tourism enterprises and over 10,000 cultural and tourism products and concluded on Nov 10.

Two Ordos products won gold and one won silver at the event.

Ordos nominated 13 cultural and creative enterprises and seven intangible cultural heritage projects to participate in the four-day event. It also invited 25 scenic spots at the 4A to 5A level to participate -- and promoted matchmaking between the scenic spots and cultural enterprises, to enhance the integration of local culture and tourism.
