Inner Mongolia partners with Ministry of Ecology and Environment

The People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in Inner Mongolia's capital city of Hohhot on Aug 24.
The signing of the cooperation framework agreement plays an important role in encouraging Inner Mongolia to further identify its point of convergence with the national development strategy and follow the new path of high-quality development with ecological priorities and green development as the guide.
The signing ceremony was attended by Shi Taifeng, Party secretary of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Sun Jinlong, secretary of the leading Party members group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Wang Lixia, acting chairwoman of the government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Zhang Shaochun, executive vice chairman of the government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, addressed the ceremony.
The cooperation framework agreement aims to help Inner Mongolia achieve new progress in the development of ecological civilization, contribute to national development, and aid in the development of ecological civilization.
Inner Mongolia will continue reducing pollution and improving industrial production efficiency under the guidance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in order to realize environmentally-friendly and high-quality economic development.
