Mutton produced in Bayannuur city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been served in Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

According to Han Yifan, sales manager of Inner Mongolia Caoyuan Xinhe Food Co, "Since July, we have received orders from Qatar, and more than 50 metric tons of mutton have been shipped in two batches."

"Now the customer has added an order of 25.5 tons of sheeptail oil that the workshop is rushing to produce." Han added.

Inner Mongolia Caoyuan Xinhe Food Co is a large-scale halal beef and mutton food processing enterprise with complete equipment, strong technical force and advanced production technology.

It slaughters and processes 800,000 heads of sheep every year, and its products are exported to more than 30 domestic cities, as well as foreign countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan.

To better serve the enterprise's product export, Ulad customs provides one-stop services for the entire exporting process, such as enterprise filing, inspection and quarantine, and application for certificates of origin.

According to customs statistics, from January to October this year, Bayannuur exported agricultural products and meat products to Qatar with a trade volume worth 3.7 million yuan ($527,817.4), a year-on-year increase of 34.5 percent.
