Mongolian Consulate in Manzhouli officially established

The Mongolian Consulate in Manzhouli in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region opened on Nov 29.

Ya.Ganbaatar, Consul of the Mongolian Consulate in Manzhouli, and Yue Guodong, mayor of Manzhouli, jointly unveiled the nameplate of the consulate on the same day.

At the nameplate unveiling ceremony, Ya.Ganbaatar said that the consulate will work closely with China in the fields of economy, trade, commerce, culture, and humanitarianism, and strive to further realize local prosperity and improve people's lives.

Wu Xi, director of the Consular Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offered her congratulations on the establishment of the consulate via video.

She said that she believes that the establishment of the Mongolian Consulate in Manzhouli will further expand exchange and cooperation between China and Mongolia, improve Mongolian consular services in China, and enrich bilateral relations.

China is willing to work with Mongolia to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to deepen mutual trust and friendly cooperation, and promote the continuous development of the China-Mongolia strategic cooperative partnership to better benefit the two peoples.
