Inner Mongolia Baogang Hospital
Founded in October 1958, Inner Mongolia Baogang Hospital is a national 3A comprehensive hospital providing medical treatment, teaching, research and preventive health care, with an area of 62,500 square meters and a construction area of 153,200 sq m. With a fixed asset of 611.39 million yuan ($96.54 million), it has 1,500 beds, and sees about 860,000 outpatients and 30,300 inpatients every year.
It was authorized as The Third Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College in 1999, and has been designated a clinical research center for liver and kidney transplantation by the health department of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

It is noted for its advantages in the treatment of trauma, acute and severe disease, adoption of minimally invasive techniques, cancer therapy and community Health Services. It is equipped with 48 sets of advanced medical devices.
The hospital has developed more than 130 research projects, with one international advanced project and 40 national leading ones.
It had won many honors in recent years, including the title of “Advanced group of medical and health care system” by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Health and Family Planning Commission of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
