Contracts worth 3.6b yuan signed at tourism expo

The recently-concluded first Inner Mongolia Tourism Industry Expo saw the signing of a total of 276 contracts and cooperation intentions worth 3.6 billion yuan ($526 million), in Baotou, according to a Sept 10 Baotou Evening News report.

The expo was co-hosted by the Tourism Development Committee of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and the municipal government of Baotou.

It had an exhibition area measuring 37,000 square meters, with five indoor exhibition areas and one outdoor exhibition area, attracting exhibitors from more than 30 countries and some 20 domestic provinces and cities.
