Industrial economy maintained steady growth in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with the added value of industries above a designated scale showing year-on-year growth of 9.7 percent, reports Baotou Daily.

Among the 400 industrial enterprises above a designated size in the city, 267 show steady profit growth. The corporate profits increased by 86.3 percent year on year.

In addition, the promotion of investment in the city has achieved remarkable results. As of now, Baotou city has signed up a total of 128 projects, with a contracted amount of 146.41 billion yuan ($21.24 billion).
