Baotou Steel International Economic & Trading Co, one of the main subsidiaries of Baogang Group (also known as Baotou Iron and Steel Group), reported increased exports with 408,466 tons of hot dip galvanized coiled plates sent to foreign countries in 2018, according to Baotou Daily.

Throughout 2018, in order to keep pace with international competitors, the company continued to improve and optimize its hot dip galvanized coil products. It has developed new materials and specifications to meet market demand.

According to the firm, the advantages of hot-dip galvanized products are long-lasting protection against corrosion and wide adaptability to the environment. They are widely used in electric power towers, communication towers, railways, highway protection, street light poles, marine components, building steel structural members, and substation ancillary facilities.

So far, the company has exported the products to 22 countries for use in home appliances, automobiles, and building structures.
