Qingshan district reports solid economic growth
Qingshan district in the city of Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region recorded solid economic growth for the first five months of 2019, with the value of industrial output up 12.63 percent year-on-year, according to the Baotou Daily.
According to official numbers, during the period the total output value of industrial enterprises above a designated scale – the statistical term for companies with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.9 million) or more – experienced 44.2 percent growth, compared with the same period the previous year.
In addition, the output value of enterprises in Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park soared 87.35 percent compared with the previous corresponding period.
