A micro movie produced by Baotou students has become a hit since officially launching on Youku, one of the most popular domestic video platforms, according to a June 27 Baotou Evening News report.

The mirco movie, created by members of the Movie Society of Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone No 2 Senior High School, portrays stories related to gaokao, also known as the National College Entrance Examination, which is an exam held every year and considered as one of the most important exams in China. Many regard the test as having the potential to change a person’s life.

The leading role of the micro movie is a high school student who is addicted to video games and finally fails in the National College Entrance Examination.

In the age of information technology, online games seem to be an indispensable part of children’s growth. But in real life, not every child can balance learning and videos games.

The micro-film does not stop at the student’s failure in the exam, but in the form of a dream, allows him t go back to the lush years when he first enters the campus at the age of 16. He lives his adolescence again in his dream.
