An automatic hedge trimmer trims hedges in the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 9. The hedge trimmer, with a width of 1.1 meters and a height of about 2 meters, trimmed more than 300 meters of shrubbery in just five minutes. The machine was imported from France. Its mechanical arm can go as low as 0.2 meters from the ground and up to 2.2 meters. It can be used in a variety of ways to prune green belts and tree branches. [Photo/Baotou Daily]
