Children take part in a stone rubbing activity organized by the Inner Mongolia Baotou Museum in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 15. The activity, which started in 2015, is held around 20 times per year, with around 1,000 children participating throughout the whole year. Stone rubbing is the practice of creating an image of surface features of a stone on paper. The image includes the stone’s natural texture and inscribed patterns or lettering. [Photo/Baotou Daily]
