IMUST entrepreneurship incubator boosts employment

Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology -- also known as IMUST--  marked new progress in its levels of alumni employment with a college student entrepreneurship incubator base that is filling more than 6,000 job vacancies annually, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

Officials said IMUST boasts the first college student entrepreneurship incubator base in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, established in 2013.

There are currently 27 registered enterprises in the entrepreneurship base, which directly promoted the employment of more than 300 college students, and provide more than 6,000 part-time jobs annually.

Starting in 2007, IMUST has established three funds to support college students' innovation and entrepreneurship.

More than 300,000 yuan ($43,600) is spent on supporting students' extracurricular science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship projects. More than 60 college student extracurricular academic science and technology competitions and entrepreneurial competitions have been held.
