Beiben trucks delivered to China Railway Group

A total of 32 trucks manufactured by Beiben Trucks Group were officially delivered to China Railway No 9 Group Co at Tianjin Port recently, according to a July 20 Baotou Daily report.

The 32 trucks -- including a dumper, watering cart, mixer truck and a truck with an articulated crane and trailer -- will be used for construction of infrastructure in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Funded by seven companies -- including China North Industries Group, China North Industries Corporation, and Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group -- Beiben Trucks Group Co is a Baotou-based truck manufacturer that is on the fast track to further success, boasting total assets currently of 15.3 billion yuan ($2.3 billion).

The company has advanced vehicle assembly, cab, frame and axle production lines, utilizing 2,218 sets of various types of equipment, including 252 sets of imported equipment. According to industry observers, the company’s specialized production lines and manufacturing equipment have become a strong guarantee for the excellent quality of its products.

The company is one of the first heavy truck manufacturers in China to obtain the internationally recognized ISO9001 standard, as well as GJB9001B standard quality system certification, national automotive product CCC certification and ISO14001 environmental system certification.

The company currently operates two advanced technology and research centers based in Baotou and Beijing, both of which operate in a fully digital environment and have strong industrial capabilities.

Its products have been sold to more than 100 countries and regions in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East.
