Copper wires produced by Zhenxiong Copper Group measure 0.0116 mm in diameter, equivalent to 1/7 of a human hair, and target the high-end market, according to an Aug 4 Baotou Daily report.

Zhenxiong Copper Group, located in the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is the largest deep processing and manufacturing enterprise in Northwest China that produces new copper conductors. Its products are widely used in high-end fields.

The company boasts cutting-edge technology for the research, development, and production of alloy-based ultra-fine wire, and is currently developing other high-end products, such as a 0.0098 mm wire.
