A concert featuring music from animation films directed by Miyazaki Hayao was held in Baotou, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 3, according to the Baotou Evening News.

Miyazaki Hayao is a Japanese film director, who achieved international fame through his animations. He co-founded Studio Ghibli, a film and animation studio, with Isao Takahata and Toshio Suzuki in 1985. Many animation films produced by the studio are world-renowned, including Tonari no Totoro, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service.
