NHL project wins autonomous region level recognition
The NTE200 electric wheel mining dump truck developed by Baotou-based mine truck manufacturer Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co -- also known as NHL -- won second prize for scientific and technological progress, according to a list released by the Science and Technology Awards Committee of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently.
The committee said the NTE200 is energy-saving, environmentally friendly, safe and efficient, and is designed for large surface mines.
It is equipped with electrical components and hydraulic components provided by the world's leading manufacturers. It is a high-quality electric drive mining dump truck that has been successfully developed through independent R&D and technological innovation. It has 10 authorized patents and carries loads of 172 to 186 tons.
So far, a total of 43 NTE200s produced by NHL have been delivered to domestic mining enterprises including Ansteel, China National Coal Group, and Jiangxi Copper Corporation, with an output value of 700 million yuan ($99.42 million).
Founded in 1988 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2000, NHL is now a leading company in the research and development, production and sale of mine trucks.
The company said it is nearing its goal of becoming a leading global mine truck manufacturer, thanks to its 28 years of experience and stable revenue growth.
