A Singaporean delegation attended an economic and trade cooperation conference Aug 12 in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to Baotou Daily.

Hu Zhengbing, deputy mayor of Baotou, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Singapore, and gave an introduction to the economic development of Baotou city.

Also, he invited Singaporean projects and enterprises to settle in Baotou.

A memorandum of strategic cooperation was signed by the Singapore-China Business Association and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Baotou at the conference.
