The seventh Inner Mongolia “Grassland Talents” High-level Talent Cooperation and Exchange Conference is to open in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with an opening ceremony in late August, according to the Baotou Daily.

An innovation and entrepreneurship week will also be held at the same time, according to organizers.

A series of activities will be held during the week-long event: an achievement exhibition, a themed forum, experience sharing, entrepreneurship and employment competitions and forums.

Also, a recruitment fair attended by more than 300 Inner Mongolia-based enterprises will be held during the innovation and entrepreneurship week.

More than 10,000 job vacancies will be on offer in more than 30 sectors -- including machinery, chemicals, rare earths, electrical and electronics, new energy, environmental protection, medicine, education and real estate.

The Grassland Talents project was launched in 2010 and aims to develop and train professionals from various fields in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
