A major recruitment fair is set open its doors for business on Aug 30 in the Baotou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region -- promising to provide employment for a large number of people.

Organizers said the event would offer jobs for some 10,000 people, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

The jobs will be provided by more than 300 Inner Mongolia-based businesses.

Organizers said the vacant positions range over 30 areas – including machinery, chemicals, rare earths, electrical work and electronics, new energy, environmental protection, medicine, education and real estate.

Major Baotou-based enterprises like Baogang Group, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group and Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group will take part in the two-day event.
