Baogang Group, the largest iron and steel manufacturer in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region,  signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) on Sept 10.

Li Degang, deputy general manager of Baogang Group, presided over and addressed the signing ceremony.

Li thanked CRRC for its long-term support and called for closer ties between the two companies.

Headquartered in Beijing, CRRC is a State-owned enterprise with 46 wholly-owned majority-owned subsidiaries and over 180,000 employees. It is one of the world's largest suppliers of rail transit equipment and is a technological leader in the field. It cooperates with Baogang Group in rail steel, and the two sides are expected to strengthen ties in rare earth permanent magnet products, mining equipment, R&D of new materials, and more.
