The last session for weekly fun walks for 2019 was staged on Sept 21 in Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to the Baotou Evening News.

Selected as one of the pilot cities for health promotion, Baotou has been engaged in developing its health industry, officials said.

The city has been organizing power walks on Saturdays since staging the first one in April, 2016, to promote a healthier lifestyle for its citizens.

So far, more than 1 million residents have participated in the walks.
