Jiuyuan district tribunal adopts latest technology

An arbitral tribunal equipped with the latest information technology has been launched in Jiuyuan district, Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

The tribunal occupies an area of 55 square meters and has a case handling area and an auditing area.

Officials said it is equipped with synchronous audio and video acquisition systems, CD-burning equipment and evidence-based high-performance intelligent display stands.

It can have full-time recordings and video recordings of a trial -- and can collect real-time projections of evidence, cross-examinations, simultaneous recording and surveillance videos and court trial observations.

The parties involved in the trial can supervise the whole process of the trial in real time and realize the transparency of the evidence and cross-examination process.
