Qingshan district reports steady industrial economic growth
Growth in the industrial economy remained steady in Qingshan district in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region in the first 11 months of 2019, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.
It said the income of industrial enterprises above a designated size increasing by 15.21 percent year-on-year during the period.
Officials said the central State-owned enterprises located in the district -- including Inner Mongolia First Machinery and China North Nuclear Fuel Co -- have continuously strengthened their scientific and technological R&D capabilities and optimized their product offerings.
Baotou power supply bureau, driven by the increase in power consumption of new projects, saw a year-on-year increase of 15.7 percent in its added value during the 11 months. Baotou No 2 Thermal Power Plant reported a year-on-year increase of 12.6 percent in its added value.
The industrial enterprises directly under the administration of the district showed a year-on-year growth of 45.21 percent in added value during the 11 months period.
