Baotou launches self-service printer for business license

Updated: 2020-01-14

A mini miracle of sorts took place recently when Inner Mongolia Wanchule E-commerce Co’s new business license was printed out on a self-service machine placed Baotou Municipal Service Hall on Jan 8, officials said.

It marked a watershed moment for progress made in the electronic registration of business licenses in Baotou city, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

A staff member surnamed Yan submitted at the application materials at the service hall.

After approval was granted, Yan put her ID card on the card-reading area of the self-reading machine. Related information was displayed on the screen for confirmation.

After ID identification and face scanning, a business license is printed on the spot through the self-service machine.

With the self-service printer, an individual or business operator can apply for a non-media electronic business license when registering.

After approval, a text message will be sent to inform the applicant. The applicant can then print the business license on the self-service printer with his or her ID card.
