Baotou launches first job fair in 2020

A job fair hosted by the human resources and social security bureau of Baotou was held in Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Jan 4, marking the first job fair in 2020 in the city, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

The job fair, targeting college and university graduates, offered a total of 2,736 job opportunities provided by Baotou-based companies including Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group, Beiben Trucks Group Co and Baotou Highway Engineering Co.

More than 1,200 job seekers took part in the event and 197 job offers were made.

In order to better serve the job seekers, the organizers of the job fair launched a series of activities including policy consultations and presentations.

Experts and business representatives were invited to give three seminars on employment polices during the event, giving detailed explanations on job hunting skills, corporate cultures and employee needs.
