Five key innovative Baotou projects awarded funding
Five key projects based in Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou city, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, were selected as 2019 Young Innovative Talent Funding Projects, according to a Jan 21 report in the Baotou Daily.
The projects included research into a low noise and anti-interference permanent underwater magnet motor controller developed by Baotou Changan Permanent Magnet Motor.
Another was a project on the development of an intelligent control system for a rare earth plant, being developed by the Baotou Rare Earth Research and Development Center at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Each project will get funding of 650,000 yuan ($94,331).
