Beifang Rare Earth Group Technology Co was recognized for its green efforts, in an announcement at the 2019 China Industrial Product Green Design and Green Manufacturing Annual Conference held in Beijing, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

A total of 15 domestic companies were on the list, due to their efforts made in resource efficiency, environmental benefits and social responsibility.

The conference organizers said the shortlisted companies had carved out strong demonstration and leading roles in resource utilization, environmental benefits, social benefits and technological innovation.

Beifang Rare Earth Group Technology Co is a leading company in the production of rare earth, research and trade in China.

It is based in Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

After more than 50 years of growth, the company currently has 37 factories, subsidiaries, as well as wholly owned, holding and shareholding companies distributed across 10 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

It boasts complete industrial chains in rare earth treatment, smelting, functional materials and deep processing applications.
