North China's Inner Mongolia has launched an online self-registration system for returnees -- as an effort in the novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control, according to a Feb 10 report in the Hohhot Daily.

From Feb 8 to 29, all returnees who enter the leagues and cities in the autonomous region through highways, airways and railroads must fill out registration-related information through the online self-reporting system, officials said.

Those who deliberately conceal the true situation or provide false information will bear corresponding legal liabilities.
