Wudang Lamasery in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reopened its doors for business on March 28, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

The opening hours are 9:00-17:00 hrs. The number of people admitted to the scenic spot is limited to 2,500 people per day.

The Wudang Lamasery in Shiguai district is one of the three most famous lamaseries for Tibetan Buddhism in China. It is a major tourist draw and is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Tourists are required to bring their valid ID card and present their health code to carry out ID verification, real name registration and temperature measurements at the entrance of the tourist service center. Masks should be worn.

In order to express gratitude and respect for the work during the novel coronavirus epidemic, from the date of the resumption of operations of the scenic spot to Dec 31, 2020, a ticket-free policy is being implemented for all medical workers across the country.
