Baotou company speeds up making mask machine

Baotou-based Ruite Precision Tooling Co, which is a subsidiary of Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group, has been making efforts in speeding up making a mask machine and protective clothing plodder since the company undertook the task on Feb 12, according to a report in the Baotou Evening News.

The task was given Ruite Precision Tooling by China North Industries Group Co on the evening of Feb 12.

A special group was set up to plan making the specialist equipment. Ruite Precision Tooling Co was responsible for the overall design of the mask machine and protective clothing plodder, including the processing and manufacturing of parts and the task of final assembly and general adjustments.

A total of more than 1,700 drawings were designed for the mask machine and four design versions were completed for the protective clothing plodder.

Employees used digital design and manufacturing process technology for 3D modeling and optimized the final production drawings and the process took merely four days.

During the entire R & D and trial production process for the mask machine, the number of self-made parts by Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group reached 418, and the number of self-made parts of the protective clothing plodder reached 215. The circuit design of the two machines was also independently completed by Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group.

The trial production of the first protective clothing plodder was completed in the early morning of Feb 25 and the development of the first mask machine was completed in the early morning of March 5.

According to Ruite Precision Tooling Co officials, to date the production tasks for 10 plodders have been completed and all of them have been delivered to the manufacturers. After testing, the equipment was found to be efficient and stable.

Three mask machines have been delivered to Henan Haodaifu Medical Equipment Co and are currently in the process of assembly and adjustments before going into operation.

Ruite Precision Tooling next plans to put have seven mask machines enter final assembly and general adjustment and the task is expected to be completed by the end of March.

Officials said the company has started development of the second-generation of mask machines.

At present, it has received many orders for the second-generation mask machines.
