Baotou to host entrepreneurship, innovation competition
The fourth China Chuangyi Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition (Inner Mongolia division) is to open in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to a May 16 report in the Baotou Daily.
All entrepreneurs and innovation groups who are 16 years of age or above and are registered in Inner Mongolia autonomous region can participate.
The preliminary competition of the leagues and cities is expected to be completed before July 15 and the selection competition for the autonomous region will be completed before August 25. The selection competition for the autonomous region will be held in Baotou.
The event is divided into two parts: the main competition and a poverty alleviation competition. The main competition includes two groups: the innovation group and the entrepreneurial group.
The first, second and third prizes are up for grabs in the two main groups and in the special competitions, respectively. The prize money is 80,000 yuan ($11,254), 50,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan.
The China Chuangyi Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition is a national-level competition, hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Science and Technology.
It will be the third time that the selection competition for the autonomous region is held in Baotou city.
