Updated: 2020-06-16

Baotou city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has added three autonomous regional-level employment skills training centers, according to a June 11 report in the Baotou Daily.

The three facilities are North Heavy Industries Senior Technical School, Inner Mongolia Metallurgical Technician College and Baotou Railway Vocational and Technical College.

Local officials said the Baotou municipal employment service department organized and carried out the recommendation and certification of the employment skills training centers in line with policies issued by the Inner Mongolia Employment Service Bureau.

They said that 10 municipal-level standardized employment skills training centers and four municipal-level exemplary employment skills training centers were identified, on the basis of recommendations from the employment service departments in the autonomous region’s banners, counties and districts.

Four demonstration employment skills training bases were recommended to apply for autonomous regional level honors.

To date, Baotou has established four demonstration employment skills training centers at the autonomous region level and 10 municipal demonstration employment skills training facilities.
