Five projects in Baotou city get sci-tech development funds
Five projects developed in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, have won national science and technology development funds amounting to 4.45 million yuan ($640,355), according to the city’s finance bureau.
Officials said the successful allocation of the special funds for local scientific and technological developments guided by the central government, is of positive significance for improving local scientific research in Baotou.
They said it is also positive for optimizing the environment for scientific and technological innovation, promoting the transformation and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and enhancing Baotou city's technological innovation levels.
The projects that received the special funds include two basic research projects that collected 400,000 yuan, and three regional innovation system projects which received a combined 4.05 million yuan.
