300 entrepreneurs participate in innovation competition in Baotou

Innovation and entrepreneurship projects developed by more than 300 entrepreneurs from across Inner Mongolia autonomous region were featured in the fourth China Chuangyi Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition (Inner Mongolia division) on Aug 24 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
A total of 144 projects were submitted for the competition, including 59 entrepreneurial projects, 55 innovation projects and 30 poverty alleviation projects.
The China Chuangyi Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition is a national-level competition hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
It was the third time the competition's selection round for the autonomous region was held in Baotou city.
In recent years, Baotou has continued to improve conditions for entrepreneurial innovation. The city has promoted employment through entrepreneurship and introduced several policies prioritizing job creation.
The city has also established 95 entrepreneurial incubation bases at or above the city level, covering a total area of 3.53 million square meters.
Officials said that Baotou has also attracted some 5,500 enterprises to establish operations in the city and helped 65,000 people to find work.
