7 Baotou projects get funds totaling 4.5m yuan

Seven projects developed in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, are to receive "Technology Boosts Economy 2020" Key Special Project Support with funding totaling 4.5 million yuan ($662,850), according to Baotou Daily.

The "Technology Boosts Economy 2020" Key Special Project Support is a special project launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology, following this year's COVID-19 outbreak, to support a group of outstanding technology companies in overcoming short-term difficulties caused by the epidemic, promote the resumption of work and production, and aid the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

The seven projects, focusing on areas including the development and application of rare earth, new materials and new technologies in line with regional resource advantages, as well as the promotion and application of modern agriculture and animal husbandry technologies, are currently being advanced in a planned and orderly manner.
